Guest guest
Who are you going to be seeing in Cincy? That is where I had my total panreatectomy and autologous islet cell transplant. I went there several times prior to the surgery got to play tourist there a few times. Dr. Jeffery s is the surgeon who took out my panc and Dr. Horatio Rilos did the transplant. Guest guest
The Dr I am trying to get into is Dr. Andres Gelrud...b/c he is on the website and a friend of mine works in Cincy @ the children's hospital and the dr she works under highly recommended him. That is where I would start. If you have any other suggestions, I am very open to them I still don't have an appt yet I am going to try to call them tomorrow. Guest guest
> The Dr I am trying to get into is Dr. Andres Gelrud...\__________________________________________________________ If memory serves he is a panreatologist. I have never met him but a friend of mine that works with the GI surgeon I had recommended him to a friend. The only problem I had with any of the docs there is they are kind of stingy with the pain meds and I had heard that he was also. But you have to trust your instincs and decide for yourself. I do believe he is aHarvad grad and was recruited by Dr. s personnally. So he does come highly recommended.
Guest guest
All the drs I have had make me get my pain meds from my GP " so only one dr can control it better " he is also closer and easier to get in to see, etc. I hope Dr. Gelrud is accepting new patients and can get me in fairly soon (I figure I will probably have to wait a month or two). > > The Dr I am trying to get into is Dr. Andres > Gelrud...\__________________________________________________________ > > If memory serves he is a panreatologist.
