Guest guest
Hi , I have good days and bad days too, although since my sphincterotomy and learning to be more compliant with my enzymes I find I have more good days than before. I was having trouble affording the enzymes also until I did some research and found out that you can get them in a generic form also. I went from paying 70 dollars a month with insurance to now paying 5 a month. I can tell a big difference an hour or so after I eat, whether or not I have taken my meds correctly. I also take a generic form of regulan since the chronic pancreatitis has casued gasteroparesis or delayed emptying of the stomach due to insufficient enzymes from the pancrease. The combination has made a big difference for me. Anyway I didn't know if you knew you could get the enzymes in generic for because my pharmacist told me that I couldn't and I had to show him how to get them. I hope you are having a pain free day, Shelia I have > good days and bad days. I'm also supposed to be taking the enzymes and various > other meds but right now we just can't afford them. Guest guest
Sheila, I kow what y ou mean about the enzymes. My Panokase costs me $200.00 a month. One month I had to pay $500.00 in co pays for drugs. Then my Dad was talking to the pharamcist and she said we can get them for free if you fill out forms and submit them to the drug companies. She filled out the forms for us and I got the free drugs. Kathleen (I laughed and said good thing I ca not eat, I can spend my grocery money on my meds! lol) sinquefield1 wrote: I have > good days and bad days.
