Guest guest
Karyn, My company has an outside company that files for social security in your behalf any time you are on long term disablity which is what had happened to me. The people took an interview over the phone and filled out my forms for me. They told me to use my worst day as a description of my days. They also had my husband fill out a form as well as my boss. Some of the descriptions I remember giving them were that I no longer wear makeup except special occasions. I am no longer able to grocery shop by myself for several reasons, cognitive dysfunction, pain, inablity to stand for long periods, fear of disabiling pain while in public. These things aren't so much true for me anymore but they were pretty much an average day for me, while I was on disability and before the sphincterotomy. I was just scared and was more scared of the sphincterotomy than I was the pain which I knew... If that makes any sense. I hope this helps, Shelia > I just received additional forms to complete for my disability application. Are your days as inconsistent as mine? Maybe you could give me some > pointers on what exactly they are looking for or how I should write it. > > Karyn
