Guest guest
Teal, Just saw your post and I wanted to comment that whenever my pancreas is doing REALLY bad, my cervix shows it. And yes, the panc pain gets worse arouind my period as well. Thats why I went on the depo shot. Sandy in Ca -------------- Original message -------------- I have learned so much in just the two days I've found this site. I have also had gynecological (sp) problems and it effect my pancreatitis. Of course, the drs look at you like you are insane when you say it is all tied together (no pun intended), but my pain is always worse even around my periods. Guest guest
I swear that my pancreas problems started with cysts on my ovary. I am having my ovary removed on July 25th. I can honestly say I can't wait. I am hoping to get some relief. K. Guest guest
K. I had a cyst on my ovary when I was having an attack...CT scan picked it up.. Idid nothing about the cyst, I've been kinda busy! -Kathleen clay kuntz wrote:I Visit your group " pancreatitis " on the web.
Guest guest
Kathleen, I know they say cysts are normal. They are now saying my cyst is a follicle & as normal as the nose on my face & it is now gone because it burst (ouch), talk about painful! It always comes back & it always hurts when it gets up to about 3 cm's. My OBGYN put me on Lupron shots to put me in to temporary menopause until my surgery to have the ovary removed. The hot flashes are something else along with insomnia. Who can sleep lying in a pool of sweat? Well only one more week until my surgery. If there is one thing I have learned it is that I am not looking foward to menopause. Fortunate for me I am only 42 so hopefully I still have a few years to go before the real deal. Just wondering do you guys always have a stomach ache? I feel like I always have the flu. I also ache all over all the time. I do have fibromyalgia but since the pancreatitis it seems to have worsened. Thanks for the support & advice. Prayers, Kathleen Cowart wrote: K. Guest guest
K-yep, cysts are totally normal. It just adds to the abdonimal pain and they kill me when they say things like, " take care of it as soon as you can " ! lol ..as if it was even a concern! I have bigger fish to fry, ya know. Yep. I always feel like I have a 'tummy " ache...but you know, it could be my bowel, pancreas, biliary, basically anything between the neck and the hips. My back feels like I have been run over my Mac truck. my pancreases don't hurt too much since I got the Botox, pre-Botox, I was doubled over like you would not believe...ok..probably YOU would be believe! lol clay kuntz wrote: ---------------------------------
