Guest guest
Yes, the s. boulardii seems to be helping us avoid too many yeast issues this time around. I think it competes with the candida so is good for keeping it in check. Right now we just finished redoing the intro diet so what my son can currently tolerate is the following: squash, meat, eggs, fish, fats/oils/butter, just pomgranate juice, carrots, cooked peeled pear, and dripped yogurt. We eat all combination of things. Our favorite snack is the pumpkin pie filling (from pecanbread.com) made without honey (I use a little vanilla instead) topped with a little dripped yogurt. That is a staple snack in this household. Today we also poured a little pear sauce over that, oh my was it good, but we don't always do that as we are trying to limit fruit right now. My kids really like pancakes so we do chicken pancakes, squash pancakes, carrot pancakes, etc. Thank God we can tolerate eggs! My kids also like pureed carrots with cooked ground turkey mixed in. Tastes like baby food to me, but they both love it! Today we made squash french fries, very tasty! I try to vary the meats/fish that we are eating with each meal to give things a little more variety since we are eating the same carbs basically just in different ways, LOL! We also add a lot of healthy fat to each meal and that really seems to help us keep our energy levels up. Guest guest
Hi Dana, Please see http://pecanbread.com/new/yeast.html I found that S. boulardii helped tremendously with the yeast. The S. boulardii allowed me to start using the yogurt again. Sheila, SCDFeb. 2001, UC 23yrs, PCOD 22yrs mom of and << We are really, really having a yeast issue right now. Does the S.
