Guest guest
, That is a little too far but if I can't find anyone around here I might have to try! My gi doc won't prescribe me anything stronger than hydrocodone and I had a really bad attack last night and used the last of my oxycodone. If it gets bad again tonight I will have to go to the ER. I am so frustrated with my GI doc. He is a good doc but he feels like pain meds are something he shouldn't have to prescribe. He thinks the enzymes should take care of the pain. I mean get real! We all know that does nothing for the pain. I am hoping this pain doc is better! Thanks for the info! Guest guest
Hi All, I will see a GI in Atlanta Monday...My symptoms are as follows: Weight gain, very hungry.. And when I do eat I'm very sluggish and get really sleepy..It's hard to move .I feel so slow and can't do anything. I put off eating as long as can so I can have energy to get things done. I've had four ERCP's an dam facing the fifth...Nothing shows up on CT's , Ultra Sounds, X-rays, blood work except my my platlets are up...an infection I'm sure... The last ERCP the GI in Atlanta, put a stent in my pancreatic duct.. But could not get into my bile duct...I know I have a lot of energy when they open those ducts for about a year or so...I feel normal...I had damage done when I hemorrhaged in 71... so that's to be expected. Angie , My pain doctor is in Columbus, Georgia and you have to be able to get to him every time you need a refill...maybe to far to drive often. Teal, That is my grand daughter's name in Ohio. McKenzie Teal...we call her Teal. She's 7 years old...I haven't seen her since she was 8 months old..Parents use...I go to Al-anon. Hugs, in Ga. from Ohio

Guest guest
I HATE that - if they had to live through the pain that we do daily they would be on the best drugs possible but we say it doesn't work they (the drs) act like we are drug seekers! It is soooo frustrating. Teal > , > That is a little too far but if I can't find anyone around here I might have > to try!
