Guest guest
Joyce , congrats on being on the other side...don't know why your legs are sore, but when i came out from under my back was killing me..when I did sit up I throw myself across the food tray and dared anybody to touch me..Then I would get cramps in my stomach when I tried to get up and go to the bathroom...I was not a graceful swan after the surgery..I fell back on the bed one time and landed crossways and told the nurses just to leave me..but they insisted I be at the head of the bed..lol lol..oh well, I am sure your legs and arms will be fine..maybe you tried to help Dr. R during surgery..lol...take care and let us hear about your progress.. Guest guest
If you drink beef bullion or any other salty broth it really helps. The salt seems to help with your energy. I also sucked on ice chips and ate a lot of no sugar added fruit bars. mmmmmm To bad watermelon is out of season it is the ultimate thirst quencher. It just gets easier hang in there. Guest guest
Joyce, and I know how difficult it is for you to only have one small sip at a time... then it just don't taste as good as it use to, right? It will get better, I promise. Trudy Crossing Over Thank you everybody for your support. This is my 2nd day Post Op and the hardest thing for me is that I am thirsty, thirsty, thirsty. I feel like I could drink a gallon of water right now. My legs and arms are really really sore! Does anybody know that if while you are under anesthia, does Dr. R make you run a marathon or what? LOL It's very difficult for me to even pick up my legs, just so sore. Other than that I am GREAT! Joyce RDU
Guest guest
Joyce, Congrats on making it to the other side. I also was immensely thirsty. By the end of today your energy should start to pick up. All the best to you! Jon in Tuscaloosa MGB 11/22/00 263/248/150 > > Thank you everybody for your support.
