Guest guest
HI, just wanted to share some of our excitement with people who understand! Our son (3,ASD) has been SCD for one week now and we have seen so many improvements already - seems too much to just be coincidence. This week...He looked up and saw birds in the sky for the first time ever! His language is improving every day, he is coming up to me and saying " Mummy " and just wanting cuddles, his eye contact and desire for social contact is improved, he is following points really well & to my amazement he is eating things I never thought he'd ever eat! On top of all that I have not seen him in pain with his BMs at all this week! YAY! We are so thrilled & so grateful to all of you on this list - you may not realise it, but just reading the messages etc gives others like me the encouragement I need to keep going (even when it feels like I am now living permanently in the kitchen!! I'm hoping that'll change as I get more used to this and get a bit more organised with things in the freezer etc). So thanks! And I hope our exciting progress can encourage others who might wonder if this is all worth while. Cheers! Nonni, Mum to (3, ASD) and Finn (13 months, so far typically developing and with scd I'm sure he can stay that way!) SCD 1 week.
Guest guest
Dearest One Nonni nonzbbf nonzbbf@... This is for , your son has been blessed with the SC Diet. Here is a reward for being on the SC Diet and improving. You may have to help him at first with this because of the spelling of the words. Keep it simple........................It's cute. GB Just type in a command.. roll over, fetch, bark, etc... (be sure to try " kiss " ) http://www.idodogtricks.com/index_flash.html May he be blessed even more on the SC Diet. We are looking forward to hearing of his improvements and remission. Guest guest
Hi there, I also wanted to share as well. We put our 3 year old ASD son on the diet 1 week ago. Although he is still non-verbal, he is beginning to babble a lot more and is putting his fingers in his mouth to try and figure out how it works! Sad but encouraging. He is also becoming more affectionate, aware and most of all we have noticed a bound in energy. We are so happy and feel we are on the right track. Good luck to you too.
