Guest guest
Hi to all , I hope this doesn't post twice I think I done something wrong the first time. (imagine that) lol. Well I hate to post anything negative because my daughter is doing so well with her TP\ICT . And still is in that area. But her home health nurse that she had when she came home from minnesota , sent her to the ER because she was having a lot of pain on her left side (rib area) and she can't keep anything what so ever down she has threw up about a dozen times this evening and she had diareah all day.The pain didn't start until this evening. I just hate that she has to go to the ER because they were so ugly to us when she had pancreatiits and its hard for me to get over how we were treated. But she needs some help. And once again were at their mercy. I know that some of you are going through is the worst pain ever and I am sorry that anyone has to go through this disease. And I hope that you all are having a decent day.But my question is can your spleen go bad after a TP\ICT ?? That is the only thing left that they can take out of her. Everything else has been taken! I couldn't go with her because her little brother has a bad ear infection and he wants his mommy to stay so her fiance took her .So I just wait. and wait. I just dont want them to think " here we go again " ( the ER docs )you know what I mean? . Well I just thought that if I got on here somebody out there might be able to fill me in on this spleen thing. Thanks. deedee
Guest guest
Deedee, Yes, the spleen can go bad. Call Dr. Sutherland right away! Typically when they do the TP/ICT they remove your spleen because it can cause problems later down the road. If it is an enlarged spleen that needs removed Dr. Sutherland would probably do it. I know that here are others who have had the TP/ICT and had to go back to have the spleen removed. Crystal
