Taking a long break

I haven't been on the board much of late, due to being busy with

outside commitments and general well being, and it might be a while

before I do come back. We found out late yesterday afternoon, that our

daughter , 4 has the same hereditary illness that I have, and

that has put the scare into both her father and I.

I can't put my emotions into words yet, but suffice it to say, I'm

scared and upset, angry just to name a few, yet have to be strong and

not show her any change. All whilst I'm coping with post surgical

problems, pain, and on top of it all the flu..

I can see counselling in my near future and hope my husband will take

the opportunity to go to it also. He's not dealing with it at all

well. I have many uphill battles in my future I can foresee and these

will either make or break us...

So for now, I say bye, and will check in from time to time..

Heartfelt wishes and prayers to you and your family, . You

have always shown such a positive attitude and been so very strong for

so long. I'm glad you're reaching out for help to deal with this

latest blow; we all need all the help we can get. Just wanted you to

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. I know most of the people on

here, myself included have such a fear of our children having any of our

illnesses. I am heartbroken for you and your family is in my prayers. My

daughter was

just reading this while I was typing and she asked what was going on and I told

her and she said that she was very sad for all of you too. I know she will

pray also. She is only 9 but those prayers are precious.
