Guest guest
A couple of years ago, I returned from a trip away from home and started itching all over. The doctor diagnosed hives, but we couldn't find the irritant for several weeks. In the meantime, I had shots of B-12 which helped temporarily. Finally, I read in the local newspaper that many residents of my area were complaining about skin and respiratory problems. Turns out the Dept. of Water was using a combination of chemical additives to reduce lead leaching. This combination of zinc and orthophosphates caused my case of hives. For about 6 months, until a citizens group was able to stop the chemical additives, I had to use bottled water for everything. I'm not saying that's the cause of 's hives - but something else you might look into. The rest of my family was unaffected. My doctor belives that because of my panc problems I may have been more susceptible. Everybody's different. Sure hope he gets over it soon - I know how miserable it is!
