What kind of B12 do you all use for your kids? I need something that I

can get/use without a prescription for my 5 year old. Looking at our

current diet, we are pretty low in folic acid, so I'm thinking a B

complex would be good for us. Do any of you use the B complex from GI

pro health? Would that be a good one? What are safe doses for kids?

K

Hashi's, Fibro, CFS, yeast/candida, copper overload, adrenal fatigue

(mostly healed!!!)

kids: son Rhowan 5 yrs old, chronic diarrhea/loose stools,

yeast/candida, ADHD, salicylate intolerance, daughter Willow 6.5 yrs

old, mild GI issues, salicylate intolerance

Started SCD June 2006, went slightly off for awhile in Nov 2006, back

on strict SCD starting May 2007. (Just redid intro and are taking it

SLOW and we are seeing some real progress!!!!!)

Also, how much B12 should an adult take? I read the suggestions in

BTVC but am still confused. For an adult she recommended 100-200 mcg,

but then when I look at GI pro health's B12, one tablet is 5,000 mcg!

How much are you all taking?

Also, what form of folic acid is best for our spectrum? Folinic acid

or folic acid?

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can offer.
