Guest guest
Hi all I am considering pulling all fruit, fruit juices and honey from my son's diet to see if it makes a difference in behavior, in that the DAN said some of the behaviors I am dealing with are yeast related. Any food suggestions/substitions for a kid who LOVES/CRAVES all three of these? Thanks in advance 4 yold son scd 7 months

You will likely see die off. You may find that some of the easier to digest fruits (peeled and cooked) may not feed yeast. Same with diluted juices (at least 50% water). Carbs are needed for energy and to facilitate healing. There is info on SCD and Yeast at http://pecanbread.com/new/yeast.html Sheila, SCD Feb. 2001, UC 23 yrs, PCOD 22yrs mom of and
