I am aware that this is not a diet of convience and am ready to start

in a few weeks, I can cook, however am not highly proficient. how do

you make chicken broth? and how do you know when a fruit is cooked

well? temp or consistencey or a time to boil or bake if there was a

page in the website I missed outlinning this if you could just point

me in that direction I'll be on my way.

Thanks for the help,

The recipe for making a great chicken broth is in Breaking the Vicious Cycle(in

the recipe section). This is definitely a book you should read before beginning

SCD if you haven't already. A fruit is cooked sufficiently if it is very soft.

The time and temperature on different on different fruits, and cooking methods

vary depending your preference.

Hi CeCelia,

<< and how do you know when a fruit is cooked

> well?>>

It should be fork-tender. Bring fruit covered with water to a boil,

then simmer for at least 20-30 minutes.
