Guest guest
Get a letter from his doctor explaining that it is " medical necessity " that he eat this way. Gets more respect than a " personal choice " . Gay B grammy_bauer@... can lead you to a SCD compliant doctor in your area that might be able to do this for you, if your docs won't comply. A DAN! would be willing to do this for you too. It is amazing how much they respect SCDiet when they see the " medical necessity " part of it. I tell people that they eat this way because of a " metabolic disorder " , instead of saying autism or ASD. ...this also shuts them up and makes them respect what is going on more. Better than calling it " allergy " . When one gets down to it...it is a metabolic condition anyways, when the gut gets this out of balance and sick....I am not lying. Hope this helps you~ Antoinette and family of Five Silly Yaks (SCD 2/06)
