Guest guest
That description of bowel habits should have my name on it! Hi, I had MGb 11-3 and as a still-fresh post-op, I have what I think is a lot of bowel " incidents " . Actually, I refer to it as being " regal' as It keeps me on or near the throne with regularity. I've not been embarassed, though, nor had any urgency that I couldn't respond to right away. But, I work from home and more than once I've been grateful for that. My family, who live nearby but not with me, have come into the house when the air has been less than fresh, shall I say, and we've laughed and sprayed and I am now known by name at Yankee Candles. . . My kids call me stinky. You'd think I'd be losing a pound a day. NOT. Oh well. At any rate, I keep hoping that this will get better. If it doesn't within the next 2 weeks, then I 'm gonna talk to Dr. R and see what he thinks I should do. I am not worried. Just may need to adjust the citrucel or add something or who knows? The good part is, most of my throne time is before 9 a.m. or after 6 or so in the evening, so during the day I seem pretty OK. When I awake, I take my Citrucel, then come in here to the computer and wait for my 2 trips to the john. When they are done, I can go and have breakfast and get on with my day. Usually during the daywhen I go to the john, it's just gas. Usually. Then around 6 or so, my belly rumbles some more, and another once or twice I am back on the throne. I have yet to really reate a formed specimen; more just soft, golden floaties! One day, I hope, things will get more normal. I have to admit, though, that pre-op I was likely to poop a couple times a day and often soft or non-formed as well. So, with that history, this probably isn't that unusual. Hope this bathroom talk has helped! PhillyJude

Guest guest
" Hey Jude " Thanks for telling what to expect...I think us pre ops all appreciate it. No kidding. Hope I don't have to runnnnn to the WC while at work. Am a gate agent for a major airline. Not sure how I will explain the plane being late to my manager! Also, do you think I can blame the " stinkys " on a passenger! < grinning> Joni MGB 12/22/00 232/150/

Guest guest
Soft golden floaties sound about right for Royalty. You really have a way with words, this pre-op got a warm almost fuzzy feeling at the thought of being a member of the Royal family!!! I have IBS so I am in the throne room myself a lot. Thanks for the picture of you dressed in all your royalness and quickly gliding to the throne room to have a conference with your cabinet members!!! :-) It sure works better for me than my own experience (I am pre-op folks) of being a ballon spinning around the room as all that air is forcefully exiting my body. Kinda like a blimp after a sharp billed bird busts it.... Just picture the atomic bomb exploding in my bath room, a big mushroom cloud!!! sbb On Mon, 11 Dec 2000 09:29:57 EST Judyh1022@... writes: > That description of bowel habits should have my name on it!
