Guest guest
Mimi, This is mostly for your info, since you are the main " keeper of the info " . Recently, we have had a 7 yo boy stay with us. As soon as I saw him, I thought he had allergies. He had dark circles under his eyes. He was skin and bone. The most remarkable thing about him to me was that he had no buttocks to speak of. His arms and legs were skin and bone. His mom said he ate like a horse and just never gained weight. Since it wasn't much trouble with on the SCD, I put him on it as well, using the intro diet and progressing as recommended. Within two weeks, he had buttocks!! I mean it was the most remarkable thing! It has now been about a month and he is beginning to get some " meat on his bones " . His chest is no longer so bony and he is beginning to have fatter looking legs and arms. The dark circles under his eyes are not as prominent, but are still there. Again, the thing that was most remarkable to me was his buttocks gaining fat almost immediately after starting SCD. Incidentally, his behavior has much improved and he may return to his mom sooner than expected. Carfagno, mom to , age 18, SCD since 9/06 --------------------------------- Looking for a deal?
