I have not been reading the list much, but when I read this, I had to answer.

My son, severe, low-functioning autism, does this. He decreased or even

practically stopped this with the SCD. However, he still does it some. I think

it is because of stomach pain. SCD has helped A LOT. I think that enzymes

might help also. We are using Kirkman's DPPIV with Isogest. I can't say that

that helps that I can tell. The most help has been the SCD. Perhaps, your

daughter is having a food intolerance or needs enzymes.

Hyper after meals...

Hello Everyone

My daughter has been on the diet for 5 months but she's still in a very

basic diet, due to some illegals she had (accidentally). Lately I've

noticed that after every meal, doesn't matter the time of the day or the

kind

of food she eats (SDC legal, of course!), she gets hyperactive for the

next

15 to 30 minutes, running back and forth and laughing as if she were

playing with somebody. After a while she's calm and starts interacting

with us

again. Has this happened to any of you? Does anyone connect this with

some kind of problem?

I'd really appreciate any help.

Ximena
