Dear all more frequent list members,

I´ve read a lot about the Dole pineapple story. So what´s the current

advice? We´ve cooked fresh pineapple for months now, but it would be

nice to use canned pineapple sometimes, both the fruits and the juice.

Is this correct?

Dole canned pineapple in its own juice - legal

Dole canned pineapple in pineapple juice - illegal

Dole canned pineapple juice, not frozen, not fresh - legal

Dole pineapple juice, fresh - illegal

Dole pineapple juice, frozen - illegal

What about other fruits canned in its own juice? Is it reliable?

Thank you for advise!

This is correct. : )

Other single fruits caned in " their own juice " are potentially

legal. You should check with the company if they really are okay.
