It was brought to my attention that in my last post I wrote the word " hire " for

moderators when I should have wrote " Appointed " . The God work that all the

moderators do is all volunteer and from their hearts. What a movement! Sorry

if I offended anyone.

Mimi the owner of PB, has contacted me and has helped me to feel wanted and

needed. I Have been asked to continue helping out on the serves. What a lady!

Made my day!! Like always, I will only be speaking of our experience strength

and hope around SCD TM. I will not be talking about our experiment with trying

to control Mitochondrial disease unless it is off serve.

Cheers to all, and God Bless every ones healing journey!!

Antoinette and family of silly Yaks!

SCD has a trademark pending to insure people don't attempt to change or 'kidnap "

the

diet.

Antoinette made an unintentional blip in her choice of a word as moderators are

chosen,

not hired and are unpaid volunteers. Once in the history of Pecanbread, someone

personally gave financial assistance to a moderator who was in dire need of

financial

assistance.

Correct,

The trademaek is still pending and is vital to protect SCD from being

compromised or

annexed by someone else.

Speaking of...

I attended the ASA national convention this past weekend. SCD came up twice

and the advice (from DAN doctors that presented) was to:

" try a MODIFIED SCD diet "

and

" if my patients WANT to try SCD, I tell them it's fine but I don't recommend

goat yogurt. "

There sure is not that much support from the autism DAN community huh?!

,

This isn't related to DAN but...my doctor said the same thing regarding SCD

and probiotics.

She's heard of the diet but not that it's helped anyone. (The next visit

she didn't require a blood test though saying I looked better and my weight

was back up.)

Try it and if it works, good :). (on probiotics)

Basically, whatever works is the main answer I get from any doc on anything

I've asked that's not 'medical'. Maybe they can't recommend it for some

reason?
