Guest guest
Hello all- We've been SCD for 5 months. My son is having trouble with introducing anything new at any time.He is still hyper active and with sensory processing- this is challenging for everyone. We are unable to add new supplements or new foods, all of which increase his hyperactivity and inability to sleep. We tried enzymes, but he screamed all night for days. His yeast issue has flared up again with no apparent cause. He has made some gains on the diet, but I keep wondering if we are missing some key element that will help him heal and calm down at last. Any thoughts or advice would be welcome, I'm at my wits end. foods he can eat hamburger chicken turkey pork squash carrots green beans spinach zucchini pecans extremely limited honey Welches white grape juice. bone broth garlic onion he cannot tolerate fruit in any form except the juice. supplements CLO DMG Phosphatadylserine everything else makes him crazy! Thanks Teena Ben ASD, sensory processing, leaky gut probably salicylate issues
Guest guest
Hi Teena, <<We've been SCD for 5 months. This is described on DeF.'s website: http://www.enzymestuff.com/basicsdosing.htm#5 <<His yeast issue has flared up again with no apparent cause.>> Are you giving any meds/supps for the yeast? <<He has> made some gains on the diet, but I keep wondering if we are missing> some key element that will help him heal and calm down at last. These may also help with the yeast/ Sheila, SCD Feb. 2001, UC 23yrs, PCOD 22yrs mom of and daniel
Guest guest
Wow, thanks for the informative link! I will give that some thought. I give him about ¾ c goat yogurt per day, but he can’t tolerate Probiotics at all. I’m introducing coconut oil now to try and battle yeast. I’m hoping that one will slide by, but we’ve had little luck with him not reacting to new things. Teena
