Guest guest
I call Dr. R office In August to set a date up for Oct 2000 I were inform that I needed $1000.00 plus the full cost of the office visit. Because of the delete in the office being paid by some Insurance Company. She then said depending on the problem so people can be waived. I gave her my reason and had not heard anything else. So the beginning of November I called Dr. R and he returned my call around six A.M. but I was not home from work yet and he spoken with my husband and stated that he is booked up for several month. I have been still calling the office because my Ins approver number is only good till Jan. 2001 and then I have to re apply. What if they say it has almost been a year and if you have not had it done yet then it most not be life threaten? I think if I had the money I would have been done and this to me is not fair, If my Ins. has already approved it then why can't I be done. I asked Barbara if the fees can be waive and she said that she would talk to he (DR. R). I am the only employed person in my home for the last 3 years since my husband had surgery on his Knees and develop Gout, hypertension and Left vent. Atrophy and is still fighting for Disability Someone in the house needs to be healthy, we have three kids age 11,15, and 16. And my sixteen year old wants to help by working also and I tell her the her education is more important to me then her working. I currently have one full-time job and two part time job just to pay my mortgage, and all that comes with it and vehicle payment to get to these jobs. My husband hypertension doesn't get better because he hate seeing me work so hard, coming hardly able to walk after a shift or two. He spoke with DR. R but well what can I say. My Job is not renewing Aetna Ushealth Care when we renew in Jan. 2001 for Feb. If I have not had the surgery by then I may have a hard time getting the new Ins. company who ever they maybe to approve me and I don't want that to happen. Please excuse any and all error, I just got upset again. This is really bothering me. I really want this surgery. I need it soon. I'm getting tied. mjc

Guest guest
Thanks, but the only thing anyone can do is pray that DR. R and his staff will give me a surgery date this Dec. it would be and excellence Christmas present. And that he would waive the fees he is asking for. I know he says he will reimburse our funds when he is paid. Thanks MJC

Guest guest
, Yours sounds like a difficult situation, I am sorry for what you are going through. I am just starting out on this journey so really cannot offer any advice. I do understand your sense of panic with regards to the insurance coverage though so I would try to speak with Dr R and see what you can work out. Maybe there is someone else out there that can give you some more concrete direction. Best of luck. Guest guest
Dear , you have had enough!!!!! Now it's time for some help. Call Durham Regional Hospital tomorrow, the minute you get in from work, and have Dr. R paged. He'll be there, making rounds, making sure his post-ops of today are OK and then he'll go down to the OR's. But you'll catch him in between, and you must explain to him that you need to have this done by the 20th of January, or all your efforts will be in vain and you've had enough bad news to last a lifetime, and your insurance is going to change and all will be invalid, and PUHLEASE Dr. R, DO ME!!!! He is a sweetie, and a kind and generous soul, and if he heard you, he'd help. Just get his committment. The rest, we'll help as much as we can. Just get the committment. OK? Will you do that, ? You can tell him that PhillyJude advised you to do this and if he doesn't help you, I'mma gonna have to put the PhillyNasty on him!!!!!!!! Please post tomorrow, , and tell us your results. I've got everything crossed that I possibly can. . . PhillyJude

I've got everything crossed that I possibly can. . . PhillyJude
