When I talked to Dr. R - he basically told me there was no absolute answer. I just went to my PCP for my two month check-up and he told me the same thing. He asked if my insurance was covering the Ursodiol. I said yes and he told me that I might as well keep taking it. If anything it could still prevent problems and it wouldn't hurt. I am going to still continue to take it. I will do anything I can to prevent something from going wrong. I guess it is just up to each individual. You can still ask Dr. R if you want, but I am sure he will probably tell you the same thing. Good luck! Terri Kirrie MGB 10/12/00 340/280/1?? Stay on top of them... BUG THE H*** OUT OF THEM! Dr. R gave us all permission to call and pretend we are part of his office to find out information. Before my surgery I was on the phone with them at least every other day. I truly believe that is how I got approved so quickly. I wasn't about to just let it go. Call them today! They should know something and if they don't - tell them you would like to speak to someone who does. Good luck! Terri K :^) MGB 10/12/00 340/280/1?? Guest guest
Hey Thanks for the encouragement. Have you heard anything about the insurance company??? Let me know Thanks and be good Carla <<<<< Hey gal! No problem. Nothing yet and I am afraid to call because I have done everything except throw myself in front of the HR Manager's moving vehicle., that is next week's plan. I am down for the surgery and I have people sponsoring me and I am thinking of selling me organs. How much is a slightly used kidney worth? He, hee, hee. Just kidding, using humor to go forward here. It is going to happen, now I am having these crazy thoughts, like getting there and Dr. R saying, today is not your day etc. Jitters I am sure. People are sending in funds and I am selling my vehicle. I will survive, cause I know how to live and how to give and know I am alive, oh no not I , I will survive! (name that tune:] LARICE PRE OP GODDESS 01/04/01 (MY NEW BIRTHDAY :]

Guest guest
Hey Larice You are in really excellent spirits and I am so glad to hear that you have a plan. Please dont throw yourself in front of the HR Managers car, because we need you to help cheer us up and cheer us on. Take care , and dont sell the organs yet. I wish you could have been at clinic today. It was really nice meeting Margaret from St. Louis, shes very nice and seeing Bev there getting her staples out. It was great. Be good Carla
