Guest guest
Hello Sheila. Thank you for your reply. has been very " moody " and a little agressive (not usual, only when she accidentally eats illegals) since we started the Candex. Is it a die-off reaction or she is not tolerating it? She's having 1/2 capsule 1 hour before breakfast and 2 capsules of probiotics and an epsom salt bath before bed time. I know you always recommend to use activated charcoal but I have never used it because I don't know how. I saw it at the health food store in capsules. Is it correct? how much can I use? I would much appreciate your guidence. She's been very uncomfortable these last 2 days. Please HELP! Thank you, Ximena --------------------------------- Fussy? Opinionated? Impossible to please? Guest guest
You can give her about a teaspoon of activated charcoal. Just mix it into something like a little applesauce or yogurt. Be sure not to give it at a meal since it will absorb everything(supplements, food, medication, ect.) given within about two hours before or after it. I usually give it right before bedtime in just a few spoonfuls of something. Meleah Could this be die-off? Hello Sheila. Guest guest
Thank you Meleah for your reply. I'm sorry but I still don't know if the capsules will work... you say to give her about a teaspoon so I understand there is a liquid form, too? Do you know where I can find it? I've tried several stores with no luck. Thanks again Ximena robin wrote: You can give her about a teaspoon of activated charcoal. Just mix it into something like a little applesauce or yogurt. Guest guest
I'm not sure about the initial question, but your probiotics would be more effective at mealtime. On an empty stomach/bedtime there is more acid & they are less likely to survive. - Ximena Adrada wrote: Hello Sheila. Guest guest
I haven't seen it in a liquid form, but I have it in a powder. I got it at CVS pharmacy. I would go to the pharmacy window of a drugstore, and ask the pharmacist if they have the activated charcoal in a powder. Meleah Could this be die-off? Hello Sheila. Guest guest
Hi Ximena, << has been very " moody " and a little agressive (not usual, only when she accidentally eats illegals) since we started the Candex. Is it a die-off reaction or she is not tolerating it?>> This sounds like die off symptoms. <<I would much appreciate your guidence. She's been very uncomfortable these last 2 days. Please HELP!>> Is she still having a lot of symptoms now? If yes, and the activated charcoal and epsom salt baths aren't helping enough you may want to cut back on the dose of candex a bit and increase that amount more slowly. Guest guest
Thank you Sheila. She's a little better now. I am giving just 1/3 of a capsule of Candex and was giving 2 capsules of probiotics but I cut the dose tonight because she was waking up in the middle of the night again. She used to do that very often before we stopped all dairy, so I thought that could be happening for the little bit of milk that the probiotics have???? I don't know for how long I should use the Candex???? Can I use it along with the OoO rubbing it on her feet??? I've heard it's to strong to give it orally. Thank you for your advice. You may need to slowly increase the amounts to maximum effect. << Can I use it along with the OoO rubbing it on her feet??? I've heard it's to strong to give it orally.>> Yes. Please let me knoe if you find it effective. That would be good for others who can't take it orally.
