Durham Regional Finance Department Number

Dear All,

Does anyone have the number at Durham Regional where you call to check on your

refund ?? I keep all that information in my MGB notebooks/bibles at home but I

am at work and wanted to call and see what the hold up was. I called about 3

weeks ago and they said it was coming but I haven't seen anything yet. Santa is

starting to get nervous.

I GOT MY REFUND BACK YESTERDAY!!! This is the number I called and I

asked for accounting. I called one week after I had my surgery, and they told me

how much my refund would be and that it would take about 4 to 6 wks to get it..

lets see... it took them one dy over five weeks. Not bad really. But I am sure

it will take longer over the holidays.. Good luck to you!

Trudy,

So glad you got your refund. I talked to them three weeks ago and they said

it was on the way. Still hadn't received it as of yesterday. Called this

morning and they said they sent it out on November 30. They verified my

correct address and stated that it had not been returned to them. I guess

I'll wait a few more days and then put out an all points bulletin.

Thanks for putting the phone number in your post so I could bug them about

it again

Tarri: I am slow in answering but from previous experience, hospitals check old

records to make sure you do not owe anything from previously before sending

refunds and then they take a while longer. Hope you have it by now. Phyllis

Phyllis,

Thanks for the response. I had never been to North Carolina before, let

alone Durham Regional so I didn't have any outstanding bills there. They

said they mailed the refund (verified my address as correct) on November 30

but I still haven't got it. If I don't receive it by Monday, I am going to

have them cut another check.

Tarri: I did not intend to suggest you did have an outstanding bill. They

check and recheck everybody even if you have never been there before, I worked

in a Columbia hospital and that was our policy. Before any refund could be

issued a thorough check was preformed, and generally they did not find anything

I think it was a stall tactic. Phyllis

No offense taken. I think sometimes the policies are structured to keep
