Looking for a good place for the last supper in N.C.

I have no idea of what is around there to eat. I am sure the usual. Do

any post ops have any suggestions? We don't want our last meal to taste

like (you know what!!) I guess we will make our arrangements at

clinic. My mom and I are driving, so we won't be getting in until

later. Wow, what a snow storm we had. I think that we got 10-12 " of

snow. I am glad it was this Monday and pray we don't get anymore until

we are home safely on the 25th.

There are lots of places to eat, but try to find them before it gets dark,

we were there in Nov. (on the 1st) and we got to our room around 8 p.m. it was

so dark (!!!! not alot of street or road lights) that we couldn't find our way

around.... Pick out your last supper restaurant before the lights go out!! LOL

My husband who is the greatest when driving in new areas, was even frustrated

the first night (in the dark). But after 4 dys he was getting around just fine.

Me, I was totally lost. Couldn't tell you what direction we were headed in..

Ask my buddy Jude, she warned me before we went out and got lost!!!

directionally challenged ;>) Maybe I will be driving after surgery. I

don't know which will be more painful!

, My only warning. Do NOT eat at THE WAFFLE (AWFUL) HOUSE. I can not

believe how bad that food was! I still get nauseous thinking about it.

I dont know if Mexican food is your taste, but I highly recommend Torero's or

Las Palmas. Matter of fact, I am headed there shortly for my " last supper "

too.

I hope you didn't eat the grits!! I lived in the south for many years

and was able to avoid that place, however my husband loves it. He has

no taste, except in wives ;>)
