Guest guest
Hello ; I am usually adamant about having links or books to back up things I say, however, in this instance, regarding the Visionware I only have my own hair analysis, Dr. Huggins verbal information at the week long Chemistry Balancing Intensive that I went to and advice from many alternative healing groups/members. This was more then enough for me. ;-) Besides their testing, Dr. Huggins also indicated that if you leave water in a pan- be it Visionware or STainless Steel- leave it overnight and then taste it the next morning and you will be able to taste the contaminants. Also on a Colloidal Silver egroup that I belonged to for years, this was a topic that came up last year. The discussion on VIsionware/Cookware went on for days with the veteran members of the group as I was SHOCKED to hear it as well. I immediately stopped using them when we returned from Colorado. Unfortunately that particular list group was not a yahoo one and it has crashed and it was devestating to lose all of the archvies, so I can't even go after the information. Many of them in that group i would classify as extremely brilliant backyard chemists and I know the information was enough to ditch all of my collection, and a nice colleciton I had! ;-) Incidentally my latest hair analysis came back, and although I have had my amalgams removed exactly 1 yr ago, and I have done megadosing with sodium ascorbate (vit c) to chelate out heavy metals, we have also stopped using the visionware pots. My aluminum, arsenic, bismuth, lead, tin and titanium are all DRASTICALLY changed (for the better). In fact the bismuth went from the 95th percentile (almost off the chart HIGH) to hardly detectable!!! My hair analysis from the year 2000 shows no bismuth reading at all... this was prior to using these pots. For years I have not used any teflon, non stick anything, no microwave, virtually no plastic if we can get around it, etc. so when I saw my hair analysis last year I was dumbfounded- I couldn't figure out where all this stuff was coming from. Obviously some comes from our air, and some of the arsenic may be from the plywood after we ripped up carpets, but the others- I truly don't know- it's nice to see such a dramatic decrease though, I'll definately maintain the megadosing of sodium ascorbate and vit c flushes. Here's what Doctors Data Lab in the U.S. says about bismuth: Sources of Bi include: cosmetics (lipstick), Bi containing medications such as rantidine Bi-citrate, antacides (pepto Bismol), PIGMENTS USED IN COLORED GLASS AND CERAMICS, dental cement and dry cell battery electrodes. Symptoms of moderate Bi toxiciity include: constipation or bowel irregularity, foul breath, blue/black gum line, and malaise. Highe levels of Bi accumulation can result in nephrotoxicity (nephrosis, proteinurea) and neurotoxicity (tremor, memory loss, monoclonic jerks, dysarthria, dementia) urine elements analysis can be used to corroborate BI absorption for a period of days or a few weeks after the exposure. Cithiol chelating/complexing agents (DMPS,DMSA) markedly reduced Bi levels in liver and kidneys, and increased Bi in urine in animal studies. ====================================== In my opinoin, obviously there is no governing body that will tell you these pots leach heavy metals. I can tell you that when I was looking to purchase them years ago, I discovered they were suddently no longer available here and that they were only being manufactured in hong kong... or was it china? Although you can find them at outlet stores here or garage sales - my understanding is that they are not produced here. However, in the same breath- aluminum is still used in cookware, and yet most of the world avoids it because of the alzheimers 'possible' connection....and of course the whole vaccine issue can be applied here as well. Lots of people have devestating effects from it, but no one admits they are dangerous. Teflon, non stick pans, microwaves, even toaster ovens with their coating on theinside that is subjected to high heats etc. - many people still use them because the government hasn't stepped in to say they are dangerous, and yet when I started researching all this, I drew my own conclusions and tried to decrease our exposure to all of it as much as possible. I hope some of this helps to explain my opinions and conclusions. warmly wendy canada > > Hi , > > Where did you find the information about Visions > leaching heavy metals? Guest guest
, If you don't use metal, non stick or other cookware, then what do you use? Where did you have your fillings removed? Was all of this natural chelating and such done before or after your pregnancy? Were you nursing? Meleah P.S. Feel free to email me off list since this is off topic. rmcorner@... Guest guest
, Thank you for all the information. I would like to know also about the type of chelation you used and the specific cookware to use, especially something to replace the non-stick stuff. Please email me off list too. Thank you sooo much. Ximena robin wrote: , If you don't use metal, non stick or other cookware, then what do you use? Where did you have your fillings removed?
