Guest guest
Thank you ALL so much for the posts-especially . Though I am not sure about the cookware, I am definitely going to switch to all glass for baking (since this diet calls for quite a bit of it). Thanks again. Now for another question-Do you all use organic fruit for juicing? And nut flour for baking? My grocery bill is off the charts. Sorry for all the questions, but I'm a newbie ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
Guest guest
Hi walkman975, <<Now for another question-Do you all use organic fruit for juicing?>> I can't afford organic fruit (unless it goes on sale or is marked down). If juicing I wash and then remove the peels. << And nut > flour for baking? >> I don't do a lot of baking (way too lazy) but do use nut flour. I found the cheapest source of nuts near me and grind them myself (hmm, I guess I am one part lazy and two parts thrifty). When foods go on sale I buy in bulk and freeze whatever I can. For example My kids love, love, love bananas. They eat them ripe and raw, with bowls of yogurt and fruit, smothered with peanut butter or in smoothies. I freeze ripe bananas when they go on sale in large bunches to use for the smoothies. When lemon and limes go on sale, I'll juice bags of them and freeze them in ice cube trays in 1 tbsp amounts.
