Guest guest
I think part of the reason we're restricted from driving in the first 2 weeks is because we could suffer extreme damage (to our surgical sites) with impact from the steering wheel. It's not just about feeling well. Until the juncture of intestines and tummy has had a chance to heal, strong impact to our tummy could put us in serious danger. I think that's why we are advised to refrain from driving if we can. Same after a C-section. Just a little added precaution. Guest guest
Another reason my PCP said was that being under anesthesia could impair our reaction time for a while.
