Guest guest
Hi Sheila: Answers to your questions. To clarify: recently his colon was good but his upper GI scope was bad (?). Yes colon was great but still inflammation of the lining of his stomach and acid reflux issues. How long ago were both tests done? First was done when he was 3yrs old and recent was done this past April at 7yrs old. What foods is he eating? He eats veggie pizza (made with pecan flour, avacado, broccoli, sea salt, olive oil) chicken pancakes, chicken, steak, squash fries, cookies (made with pecan flour, vanilla extract, cinnimon), pears, bananas, mango. Please list all supplements used in the last few months: Zinc, Vit E, Vit C, Vit A, CoQ10, Grape Seed Extract, Citrimin II, Buffered Magnesium Glynicate, Molybendum, Calicum Citrate, Vit D, FolaCal, DHA/EPA and Compounded B-Vits. Everything is hypo-allergenic from Thorne, Kirkman and VRP. Are you using yogurt/probiotics? Yes probiotics How long on SCD? 3 yrs. Have you tried any of the natural remedies: extra water daily, small frequent meals instead of larger less frequent meals, raw garlic. He drinks water all day long, and he eats his 3 meals and snacks in between. Has he been tested for a hiatal hernia or H. pylori? Yes he was tested for H.Pylori when he was scoped in April and it was negative and doctor never said he had a hernia when he was examined. This is why it is so frustrating why he still has gut issues. I just don't know what to do, I do love the SCDiet I think it is extremely healthy but after seeing that scope which was recently done, we were shocked to see his gut was worse than before. I do have to say again, it did help with diarrhea and his colon looked great, but it's frustrating to my husband and I that his still has inflammation of his stomach which is causing the acid reflux. We are a standstill right now on what to do.>> To clarify: recently his colon was good but his upper GI scope was bad (?). How long ago were both tests done? What foods is he eating?
