The ground pecans will be browner than blanched almond flour but produce some very nice baking. Try the basic muffin recipe in BTVC using the pecans. Grind them in a food processor. They will attain the denisty and texture of brown sugar. Don't do them longer as they will become pecan butter. Carol F. By all means try several and see which taste best and are well tolerated and let us know. It will help others.
