Kid SCDers in the Philadelphia area?

My daughters are tired of being the only kids they encounter with diet

restrictions (this holds true both for the NT population and, interestingly, the

ASD population we encounter in person). One time a couple summers ago we

happened to get together with another family in Maine who also did SCD and it

was so much fun to be able to sit down, eat together and easily, happily share

food without feeling weird, different, left-out, deprived etc.

So are there any families in the Philadelphia area who'd like to get together

for an SCD potluck?

When I weighed 219, I was tired of needing diet restrictions too and found

comfort and

support in an online group. It was the same after I slimmed down but required

SCD.

We have had a number of excellent Potluck Luncheons in Toronto and always go

home

energized, enthused and bursting at the seams, carrying new recipes and yummy

leftovers.

I have made some friends at these get togethers and engaged in SCD projects with

them, a

cooking class and contributing recipes to SCD Cookbooks that got published.

I suggest you also includeSCDadukts as it makes for a nice mix. Our adukt group

included

two SCD children
