odd leg problem with son

I didn't know if this could be anything to do with what he is eating

or what he may need that he is not eating or just something

strange. My son in the last couple of weeks has been waking during

the night complaining that his leggs are cold. He is almost 8 and

has never had anything like this. He also has ADHD, Asperger's,

OCD, has strong dyslexic difficulties and tics and is highly

sensitive to salicylates. He has always been more hot natured than

cold. He wakes and just cries and cries. When I feel his legs they

feel very warm to the touch, so I suppose he is losing body heat

through his legs. We have to get him in bed with us, sandwiched

between my very warm husband and myself, put sweats on him and an

extra blanket just on him for him to be able to warm up and go back

to sleep. By the morning, you really can't tell anything happened.

It's only at night and at random. He is generally more cold natured

(but not to that extent by any means) since he started SCD 4 or so

weeks ago. He has lost a couple of punds and grown 1 1/2 inches in

the last 6 weeks. I do have trouble getting him full as he requires

so much food due to a very high metabolism and being on stage 1,

starting stage 2 in a few days his diet is extremely limited.

Anyone have any ideas? It just seems should, but I couldn't imagine

why or know if it is a problem. He has taken activated charcoal a

few times off and on also. No supplements of any kind taken either.
