Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I am new here...I have begun the SCD Diet 2 days ago and I have been feeding my daughter the zucchini, carrot, apple, pear (ALL peeled and well steamed) and eggs and chicken and my daughter walks around all the time insisting she is hungry-even after eating a full apple, 2 scrambled eggs and 1/2 a pear...is this normal?!! Please if anyone has experienced this could you email me? mdsuzetta@... thanks so much, nah Hansen
Guest guest
Hi, I'm an adult who started SCD in Jan 07. I was like that for the first six months. I was constantly hungry...I was cooking two baked chickens, buying 2 18-cartons of eggs, it was wild. The grocery bill was killing me. That has tapered off now. I think other parents and SCDer's reported the same thing in the beginning. Mine seemed to last a long time. Hopefully the moderators can give you specific reasons. With me, it was just nice to maintain and be able to eat. It's kind of like being a bottomless pit . Guest guest
nah, The huge increase in hunger is very, very common. Please read the following post where Sheila explains various reasons why this may be happening: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/pecanbread/message/66596 You won't be leaving the kitchen for a while. But it does get better. , mom to
