Guest guest
When storing the SCD yogurt, what is too cold? I know (I think) that freezing SCD yogurt is supposed to kill the good bacteria or render them ineffective or something like that. I travel a lot and have to bring it with me in a cooler and my new one works very well, maybe too well. So, I want to make sure the bacteria is still able to do its work and that I am not getting it too cold. The yogurt last time had small ice crystals on the very top, just a tad bit. Anyone have any ideas? Bonita
Guest guest
You probably still had a lot of good bacteria even with a bit of ice. I would keep using the cooler but move the yogurt farther away from the ice pack, if possible, or wrap the container in a dish towel or something like that. , mom to > > When storing the SCD yogurt, what is too cold?
