When is CHEESE ok?

I did the intro for 5 days and have introduced over-ripe mashed

bananas and home made apple sauce. Due to technical difficulties, I

only today (day 7) added the SCD yogurt.

I don't have diarrhea so it's a bit hard for me to gauge how quickly

to add foods, so I've just decided to take it slow.

I don't see cheese mentioned on the stages or anywhere I can see in

regards to when it is ok or when it is recommended to be introduced.

I would sure love to put a little cheddar on my A.M. eggs. Should I

try it?

Thanks -

Hi, ,

The stages are not rigid; they are just a guide that helps many

people. I'm looking at BTVC and it says after the intro to start

adding cooked fruit, banana, and additional vegetables. You are

right that it does not say when to add cheese. But the rule of thumb

is that unless something is a known " advanced food " , you can try a

small amount and see how you do, increasing gradually and watching

how you react. I have never read that cheese is considered

an " advanced food " so I say go for it.
