Hi folks-

First, let me say how wonderful this group is! Lots of very helpful info flying

back and

forth.

My son has been responding well to the diet (using it for his petit mal

seizures). He went

through a typical " get worse, then get better " cycle. Then he started getting

worse again-

we figured out it was peanut butter (missed that posting!). So now that we have

cleared it

out, it is almost like he is going through the beginning die off stages again,

especially with

D. Is this normal? I have done low doses of charcoal, and am now trying epsom

salt baths,

but just am looking for some assurance and other experiences. We are not useing

any nut

butters and are keeping everything pureed, avoiding honey too for now.

Hi, Tracey,

It sounds to me like you are doing everything right. I have heard of

cycling rounds of die-off, even months later. Amazingly my son

has never experienced die-off that I have been able to identify, so I

hope list members with similar experiences after discontinuing peanut

butter will post their comments.
