Which brand of cheeses are legal, and where do you get them? ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
Guest guest
For breakfast, we have tried the Banana pancakes and the Midas pancakes. We like the banana pancakes better. I think today we are going to try the Cinnamon Latkes. ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
Guest guest
Making yogurt with just acidophilus is not legal. Yogurt starter for SCDers should have at least S. thermophilus and L. bulgaricus. L. acidophilus or L. casei are optional strains. I don't know if these children can have nut butter/nut flour yet, but there are egg-free baked good recipes here: http://www.pecanbread.com/new/recipes1.html I don't know it these children can have dairy. And your friend might consider serving traditional lunch and dinner foods for breakfast, as many people do. For some reason I love green beans in the morning! mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
Guest guest
Goat cheese is legal as long as it is " hard " and aged a minimum of 30 days. I have found some goat cheese at Kroger and there are many at a local shop that has specialty foods. There is also the Alta Dena brand which I see at health food stores. I think Summer said she gets it at Whole Foods. But I buy the Mt. Sterling goat cheddar on- line here because it costs less: http://www.buygoatcheese.com/ mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
