Guest guest
Canned goat milk is not allowed for making yogurt, and powdered goat milk is not allowed either. The goat milk doesn't need to be raw, but it must be fresh milk from the refrigerated section of the grocer. Yes, you will want to use the starter from GI Pro Health if you are using goat milk for your yogurt. Meleah I have a Few ?'s new to SCD Hello Everyone... Guest guest
So glad you are already seeing improvements! I think that if your dd had trouble with cow's milk in the past, I would try to play it safe and use the GIPro Health nondairy starter. The commercial yogurt some people use as starter is from cow's milk. The yogurt will help with thrush. You can apply it to the inside of the mouth. This link will take you to legal vitamins and legal enzymes. http://www.pecanbread.com/new/Sup1.html My research of old posts indicates that canned goat milk is fine, but since Meleah thought differently, we need to sort this out and will post again on this topic. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
Guest guest
Hi, Naomi, I checked with Mimi the list owner and she says the canned goat milk is ok as long as it doesn't have illegal additives. I know some canned goat milk has Disodium Phosphate, but that additive is legal. Also I found a post for a former moderater Patti, who says the powdered is also fine, again as long as you read the label and it doesn't have illegal additives. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
