Hello Everyone...

Day 4

Naomi is eating

Chicken - Chicken Broth

Eggs

Carrots

Zucchini

Apples

4 oz prune juice with 4 oz water - yesterday only

Flex Oil? 3 tsp

Cod Liver Oil 2 tsp

honey-baking soda & salt? - Electrolyte drink...? 2 days but I felt like she was

worse? possibly the honey -- very cranky and Probioticswhinny.

I want to start the yogurt and will be doing?goat yogurt since she has not

tolerated Cow's milk in the past.

I need to order the starter & Yogurt maker today.

!.I see the Starter on GI Health is that the one you would recommend with the

goat?milk or is it ok to use commercial yogurt as a started?

2.Do you use the following if so what brand:

? SCD ?

? Enzymes?

??Multi Vitamin?

She does have a yeast problem as she tends to get thrush quite often.

3. Canned Goat milked is that ok to use. I can not find raw goat milk locally?

P.S.

I have seen improvements in her already.

She actually started eating Chicken- broth & carrots about?3 weeks ago along

with 3 cans of ensure plus a day .. I slowly weaned her off the Ensure and?have

been SCD?for the last 4 days.

Naomi has many disabilities due to a BI @ Birth.

non-verbal

CP

Hydrocephalus

Developmental delay

Use a wheel chair for her mode of transportation.

Canned goat milk is not allowed for making yogurt, and powdered goat milk is

not allowed either. The goat milk doesn't need to be raw, but it must be fresh

milk from the refrigerated section of the grocer. Yes, you will want to use the

starter from GI Pro Health if you are using goat milk for your yogurt.

So glad you are already seeing improvements! I think that if your dd

had trouble with cow's milk in the past, I would try to play it safe

and use the GIPro Health nondairy starter. The commercial yogurt some

people use as starter is from cow's milk.

The yogurt will help with thrush. You can apply it to the inside of

the mouth.

This link will take you to legal vitamins and legal enzymes.

My research of old posts indicates that canned goat milk is fine, but

since Meleah thought differently, we need to sort this out and will

post again on this topic.

Hi, Naomi,

I checked with Mimi the list owner and she says the canned goat milk is

ok as long as it doesn't have illegal additives. I know some canned

goat milk has Disodium Phosphate, but that additive is legal. Also I

found a post for a former moderater Patti, who says the powdered is

also fine, again as long as you read the label and it doesn't have

illegal additives.
