Hi : I'm not a chef but I love to cook and bake and have for 40 years. I

have as much interested as ever, if not more interest than ever, but it took

about a month for me to feel like cooking again! I still enjoy cooking and I

still enjoy eating. The only difference is that I sample one cookie while baking

instead of a dozen. It took quite a while for hunger to return (some folks

never lose their hunger) and once it did, my interests hadn't changed, just the

quantity of food I could eat had.

Thanks for the response. I have never been much into baking myself.

But I do enjoy the gourmet cooking. The best part is making the plate

look real nice then seeing a customers face when they get it. Sweets

would not be a problem for me as I don't eat much of that as it is now.

Sounds like the only effect it would have on me is trying less of what I

make and thats fine by me.

:) Thanks again

What I find, , is that since I can only eat a small amount, whatever I do

eat must be really worth it. In other words, the best! My gourmet muscle is

working overtime, I'm getting so fussy! You'll do just fine in your

profession; you'll just need someone to taste for you for a while. Good

luck, PhillyJude
