Guest guest
Hi all, I made goat yogurt with regular starter (for cow's milk yogurt). Is that okay? I'm wondering if the little bit of cow product that's in the starter is enough to make a big difference. Guest guest
Who will be eating the yogurt? Has the person been dairy-free previous to this? Even if the person has been dairy-free, it might not make a difference, but if there's any reaction, you won't know if it's to the bit of cow dairy or die-off from the good probiotics in the yogurt. You can try it with small amounts. But if reacting to cow dairy is a large concern for you, you might want to start over with the starter from GIProHealth. , mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
Guest guest
Thanks, . The yogurt is for me, and I've been dairy free and even yogurt free (goat included). Just starting to re-introduce, as I couldn't tolerate the yogurt at all. It's been a month since I last tried. I think I better get the right starter, just to be safe.
