This is the following: Two months ago I make a stool test of my son in our labs for candida and other bacteries. I read, read that every children has a yeast issues and I say OK Im going to perform this test to my son.... The test show that there were no any pathogen bacteries, byt, Candida-YES, in small amounts but Yes. I show this result to my son Dr and she dont let me to give him Nystatine, its a small amount she say... After 2 month, 5 days ago I, on my own, start to give my son Nystatine. The prescription is 2x15 drops, but I start low, with 5 drops twice a day........ For these five days a large changes apear on my son behaviour, in negative... 1. He start to shake, flap his hands a lot... 2. Mooo too much.... 3. He never had gass before, now he have problem with gass... 4. Gass wake him up in evenings, sure that are problems with Nystatine.. 5. He never had constipation before, now he have a constipation, problem when make poo.. 6. He cant sleap. he sleap last night in 03 and wake up in 05 in morning, only 2 hours of sleaping.... it is a mass... 7. His poo is sooo smell..... 8. He become more in his world, he is not present here... Is this a regression or is a die-off, but I think that I make a mess with Nystatine.... I read everywhere that children with candida progress using the Nystatine, but my son, become regressed more and more.... Should I decrease the dosage, I give him 5 drops or incresa to more??? Should I stop Nystatine.... Should I buy some probiotic, here we dont have S. Boulardi but maybe something else??? HELP, please, what is the problem,-die-off or??? - any suggestions.... Guest guest
Hi, Goran, You cannot get rid of yeast completely. It is a normal part of what is in the gut. So when your doctor says there's just a little yeast, don't do anything, and your child is also doing well and progressing, you should probably believe the doctor. But, what to do now? I think I would stop the Nystatin, add (in small amounts, slowly) a legal probiotic, and go back to the intro diet for a day or two. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/

Morning when he woke up he was ok maybe some nervous but ok. I decide to give him Nystatine again, but now 3 drops. He dont want to eat and drink, just a little. For sure, something is hapenong in his gut... He never do this before... After 10 minutes he start to make poo, but now diarhea...... After 2 days of constipatin, now diarhea... After 30 minutes again diarhea.... We went to town and abouth 12 h, again diarhea.... Afternoon 14 h, again diarhea... My wife call me to come, they were in park, very upset... My Panta was screaming, running, very irritated, run up, down, cry a lot, without any reson...I couldnt make him comfortable.. He never do something like this before. For sure some bad reaction is happening in his gut... I buy yougurt probiotic, some Canadian in our pharmacies and will give himm today... The behaviour of Panta become very bad, few hours after Nystatine, and gets diarhea, so I decide to stop Nystatine to my son... What will happen if healt gut receive Nystatine??? If Nistatine is safe, or not go out in bloodstram, why he behave like today. he is worst and worst... I must stop Nystatine... They are now at home and will se his behave in evening Should I give him probiotics???? Regards Goran julie46250 wrote: Hi, Goran, You cannot get rid of yeast completely.
