Hi

I started beginner diet first week of august..Right now I am in

stage1 as prescribed in pecanbread.com.. I would like to know

how long should I continue the beginner diet stage 1?

I am taking

cooked chicken/beef

Eggs

cooked beans

cooked carrots

Cooked/peeled apples

cooked peeled pears

cooked zuccuni

probiotics--acidophilus 4/S.Bourdali-4 everyday(2 in the morning/2

in the evening

Will cooked beans cause flares?I dont know ..for few days I have

blood drops coming out with stools..

Should I be in stage1 till I stop seeing the blood in the stools?

Please help me

Cooked beans are not a stage one food. Beans are high in their starch

content even though it is an SCD legal starch. You will not want to do any

cooked beans for many, many months. Just stick to your pealed, seeded, and cook

fruits and vegetables and your meats, eggs, ect. Immediately discontinue the

beans. I don't know what kind you were using. Once you begin beans though, you

will need to soak the dry beans for 8 hours. Then, drain the soaking water,

rinse the beans thoroughly, and cook them in fresh water.
