Guest guest
Hi Elaine! This is a good question. The regular V8 splash has a LOT of sugars in it... look at the nutritional lable under " sugars. " (Read the ingredient lable too... whether it is glucose, sucrose, fructose, corn syrup, etc.. it's still sugar.) Some people may not have a problem with the sugars in various juices making them, " dump, " but many do. But... I've found it if I look really hard... (I had to cruise 5-6 stores to find it.) There is a " Diet V8 Splash " out there... packaged in smaller bottles. I've found it as a tropical blend, a citrus blend, and a berry blend. There is a minimal amount of sugars in those, and they taste great. Other reduced sugar fruit juice blends I've found include; " Tropicana Twister Light, " (kiwi strawberry and berry blend.. in the regular sized bottles!), " Diet Snapple, " (LOTS of flavors), and " Ocean Spray Light, " (cranberry, cran-raspberry, cran-grape, and cran-mango), and " Langers- diet " (Cran-raspberry and ruby red). hope this helps! My best! Jenn in Vancouve, WA MGB 11-1-00 #300 12-1-00 #272 <<<Hi guys It's just me with another question. Is this new V8 splash ok or is it too sweet? I notice it has a lot more calories than the regular veggie kind. Guest guest
Jen, Great answer, thank you!! I'll be sure and keep this list. I don't feel as restricted as I did before. There are lots of good alternatives on your list to the diet coke that I drink night and day. Thanks again and have a very Merry Christmas! Elaine > Hi Elaine! > > This is a good question.
