If you can't tolerate the honey or some of the spices, then leave them out. I think it will probably taste fine, although not as well as it would with them. Better Than Heinz Ketchup 2 Cans of Tomato Juice (46 oz each) 2 Cups Vinegar 2 tsp. onion powder (homemade) 8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. all spice 1 tsp ground cloves 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. garlic powder 5 Tlb. honey Pour Tomato juice in large pot and add the rest. Simmer for several hours, stirring occasionally (a splatter screen is useful here, because it will splatter quite a bit towards the end. It is done when it has the ketchup consistency you desire.
