Guest guest
the only source that i can find of raw goat milk is a local coop/heath food store and they are having trouble with their supplier. they may not be able to get it any more. have any of you used the powdered goat milk (meyenberg{sp?} is the brand that can be found at that same store) for making yogurt? did it turn out very well? how different is the taste? how much runnier is it? i've gotten my husband hooked on SCD yogurt and desperately need it for my son. he's having to do without. i think i'm going to start probiotics for him sson. that will at least help. you want the acidophillis or s. boularidi (you know what i mean, i don't have a clue how to spell it)for probiotics, right? bonita son, scd 3 months
Guest guest
People do use the Meyenberg powdered goat's milk, but I do not see any reports of how it turns out. Be sure to reconstitute only to the strength of regular goat's milk because if you add extra powder there will be too much lactose. Acidophillus is recommended and s. boulardi can be taken as well. , mom to SCD 4/23//
