Two Questions on Goat Milk

Hi all,

Is it legal to use canned goat's milk for yogurt. I believe it's

concentrated because the can said something about diluting it.

Is it ever legal to use acidolopholus pills for a starter? I've read

two different answers and wanted to see if one specific pill is legal.

OT-is there a program or a way to take all the helpful posts (snack

ideas, recipes, lists, etc.) and put it all together on your own (my

own) computer in an organized fashion. I've tried writing everything

on recipe cards but it's so much easier to cut and paste into something

to print. Tons of great information on the lists.

There is legal canned goat's milk. Be sure to read the ingredients and

make sure nothing illegal has been added. If the directions say to

dilute, be sure to do so.

Making yogurt with just acidophilus is not legal. Yogurt starter for

SCDers should have at least S. thermophilus and L. bulgaricus.

L. acidophilus or L. casei are optional strains.

To organize informative posts, I have created a Word folder called SCD

on my computer. Within the folder I have sub-folders: baked goods,

breakfast, desserts, non-foods, etc. When I find something in a post

that I want to save, I use the Copy and Paste commands and just past

these items into Word documents inside the folders. Works for me.

capsule. Any idea how many pills per pint or quart, etc.?
