Hi Connie,

I originally sent my letter in to BC/BS in September. It took about 3 weeks

to hear from them. They sent a letter to Dr. Rutledge with a cc to me saying

that they needed a physical done and record of my weight for the past 2

years. I had my physical done the first of November and my PCP faxed the

info them. They kept saying they hadn't received it. So after 2 more trys

of faxing from my PCP, I decided to get a copy of the physical myself and fax

it myself. I then followed up by calling them to be sure they received it.

This time it worked. They then told me I needed to send in 2 years of

weights. I didn't have a record of 2 years of weights because I had only

been seeing my family physician for 1 1/2 years. I sent this info to them

(calling to be sure they received it). I was sure they wouldn't approve me

because they were a stickler for the 2 years rule, but they did. It took

two weeks to get the approval after having all of the info to them.

I hope this helps you out. Where are you in in Alabama? I'm in Saraland

just outside of Mobile.

I am in Wetumpka, 20 miles north of Montgomery. They got my letter the 8th

of december so I should hear something good or bad soon. Thanks for

resonding I appreciate it. Hopefully my time is coming soon...

Keep me informed how you are doing and the crossing over.
