Guest guest
Hi, We are very new to this diet, and it has been helping our five-year-old son tremendously with overall focus and decrease in stimming. My question involves my fear of oxalates. I read the link regarding this already. I found the following website which may be of interest to others on this board. It has some ideas for how to avoid this problem. http://www.stillpointhealth.com/LowOxalateDiet-HelpandSuggestion.html My question is, have any of you had problems with oxalates on SCD, and if so, how did you know? I am going to try not to " overfeed him " " the high oxalate foods, but if anyone has any oher advice, it would be appreciated. Thanks! Guest guest
It is fantastic to hear that the SCD is helping your son so much. If you have oxylate concerns, you should get other viewpoints besides the one at the stillpointhealth link. I think you have read the pecanbread link: http://gutresearch.com/9SCDdairy.html Please also read here: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/pecanbread/message/61831 mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
