Hi Becky,

His improvement stayed about the same when we upped the shots. It seemed like

the

shots helped him want to use two word phrases more. (He has a large vocabulary

of

nouns but any kind of phrases have been really tough in coming.) It has been

slow, but I

think the B12 helps. We increased the frequency of his schedule because he was

definitly

trying to talk more on shot days.

That being said, we have just gone a month without shots and my son has kept

improving.

(I have to mention that we have also been doing things like prepping for SCD by

building

an arsenal of replacement SCD foods for a lot of the rice/corn/potato things he

loves and

have changed his chelation schedule so there has been a lot happening.) Even

though we

have not done the intro diet yet I think the reduction in starch is already

helping. We also

added Bh4 and Gaba and it seems to have really boosted his language...he has

also

become potty trained in the last six weeks, which has been something that I was

really

worried about. I didn't really mean to skip a whole month of the B12

intentionally...we

have just had so much going on.

We should get our new B12 refill today and will start again with our every-other

day

schedule and let you know if we see any differences. I will post again this

coming weekend

and give you an update.
